Flower Bed & Tree Ring Edging in Bozeman, MT
Concrete edging keeps flower beds, tree rings, and rock beds looking crisp all season. EdgeWorks Curbing installs custom concrete borders around beds, trees, and landscape islands for homes across Bozeman and the Gallatin Valley.
Each border is machine-formed on-site to follow any curve you want, then sealed the same day. It keeps mulch and rock where they belong and keeps grass out of your beds.
Concrete Borders for Every Bed
Flower Beds
Define foundation beds and garden beds with a clean, permanent edge that holds soil and mulch in place and stops grass from creeping in.
Tree Rings
A concrete ring around a tree protects the trunk from mowers and trimmers and gives the yard a finished look. We place control joints strategically to help prevent cracking from tree roots.
Rock & Mulch Beds
Montana wind and snowmelt can scatter decorative rock and wash mulch into the lawn. A continuous concrete border keeps it contained year after year.
Landscape Islands & Curves
Because the curb is formed on-site in one piece, it can follow curves, circles, and free-form shapes that are hard to do with pavers or plastic edging. Need help with the layout? We're happy to help you design it.
Why Concrete Instead of Plastic or Steel Edging?
Won't heave out of the ground with Bozeman's freeze-thaw cycles
No stakes to work loose and no seams to separate
Heavy enough to hold rock and mulch through wind and snowmelt
Mower-friendly, which often eliminates trimming
Available in smooth, colored, or stamped finishes
Style Options
Bed and tree ring borders come in every style we offer: Classic Smooth or One Color Smooth for a clean look, or stamped stone, slate, or brick patterns for more texture.
What Does Bed Edging Cost?
Pricing is per linear foot: $10 for Classic Smooth, $11 for One Color Smooth, $13 for basic stamps, and $16 for advanced stamps, with a $1,000 minimum job in the Bozeman area. Walk the outline of each bed and tree ring to estimate your footage, then plug it into our cost estimator.
Bed & Tree Ring Edging FAQ
Will installation damage my lawn?
No. We cut a narrow trench about 10 inches wide and move concrete with a powered wheelbarrow on turf tires, leaving the surrounding grass untouched.
Can you work around sprinklers?
Yes. Mark your sprinkler heads before we arrive. Heads should sit outside the curb so iron-rich water doesn't leave rust stains on it.
Can you help design the bed shapes?
Absolutely. We'll help lay out smooth, natural curves during your free on-site quote.
