Stamped & Decorative Concrete Curbing in Bozeman, MT
Stamped and decorative concrete curbing gives your landscape the look of natural stone, slate, or brick with the strength of a continuous concrete border. EdgeWorks Curbing installs stamped and decorative curbing for homes across Bozeman, Belgrade, Big Sky, and the rest of the Gallatin Valley.
Every stamped curb is machine-formed on-site, colored, textured, and sealed the same day, so you get a custom border that fits your yard and holds up to Montana winters.
How Stamped Curbing Works
After the curb is extruded, we press a textured stamp into the fresh concrete to create the pattern. Stamped curbing uses two colors: a primary color mixed into the concrete for a consistent base, and a secondary (release) color applied during stamping to add depth and contrast. The secondary color becomes the main color you see.
Once the pattern is set, we seal the curb with a semi-gloss acrylic sealer that protects it from the weather and brings out the color.

Popular Color Combinations
A few combinations our customers love: Rosemary with Walnut as the main color, and Slate with Deep Charcoal as the main color. We generally recommend a lighter primary color under a darker secondary color so the base shows through as subtle highlights.
Decorative Concrete Curbing Options
Decorative curbing goes beyond a plain gray border. Every EdgeWorks curb can be customized to fit your home, rock, and plantings:
Stamped textures like slate, flagstone, cobblestone, and brick, plus premium patterns such as North Shore Slate and Whiskey Shale
Integral color mixed through the concrete, so it won't chip or peel
Two-tone release colors that add depth and a natural stone look
Flowing curves around flower beds, tree rings, walkways, and patios

Why Choose Stamped Curbing?
Looks like natural stone or brick without the shifting and weeds of individual pavers
One continuous piece, so it won't separate or heave like sectional edging
Custom colors to match your home, rock, and landscaping
Sealed the same day for weather protection and color
Built for Bozeman's freeze-thaw cycles and snow

Stamped Curbing FAQ
How do I keep the color looking good?
The same-day sealer protects the color, and resealing as part of yearly upkeep keeps it looking its best. See our curb care guide for details.
Will stamped curbing crack?
Like all concrete, curbing can develop small hairline cracks. We use proper mix ratios, added fiber, and control joints to minimize cracking, and cracks wider than 1/4 inch on level ground within the first year are covered under our warranty.
Can I see samples before I choose?
Yes. View every stamp and color on our Colors and Stamps page, and we can talk through options during your free on-site quote.
